What cookies are

Cookies and similar technologies are small data records stored by a browser or device. They help websites remember information, keep users signed in, secure sessions, and understand product performance.

Types of cookies we use

Chorus Local uses a limited set of cookies and similar technologies to operate the service and improve reliability.

  • Essential cookies for login, session continuity, workspace routing, CSRF protection, security, and billing redirects.
  • Preference or similar local browser storage for interface choices, remembered settings, and feedback prompt cooldowns where supported.
  • First-party analytics and diagnostics technologies for product performance, aggregate public usage patterns, authenticated funnel analysis, feedback review, error monitoring, and reliability improvements.
  • Third-party cookies or redirects from providers such as Stripe when customers use hosted checkout or billing portal flows.

Product analytics limits

Chorus Local does not use analytics cookies for advertising profiles or cross-site tracking. Public visitor analytics are aggregate-only, while detailed workflow analytics are tied to signed-in product sessions and workspaces.

Product analytics do not request browser location permission and do not store raw IP addresses. Rough country, region, or city may be derived from trusted hosting headers or a configured local GeoIP database.

Advertising cookies

Chorus Local does not need advertising cookies to deliver the core product. If advertising or retargeting technologies are added later, the product should update this policy and provide any consent or opt-out controls required by law.

Managing cookies

Most browsers allow users to block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login, workspace access, checkout, billing management, or other core product functions from working correctly.

You may also use privacy controls offered by your browser, device, or applicable analytics providers.
