Acceptable Use Policy

Rules for using Chorus Local safely, lawfully, and in line with review-platform and public-content trust requirements.

Last updated May 6, 2026

Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy protects customers, review platforms, end users, and Chorus Local. It applies to all accounts, workspaces, users, integrations, drafts, prompts, uploads, exports, and public-facing workflows.

Prohibited activity

You may not use Chorus Local to create, support, or facilitate harmful, unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or platform-violating activity.

  • Illegal activity, fraud, phishing, malware, credential abuse, unauthorized access, or attempts to probe or disrupt systems.
  • Review manipulation, review gating, directed review wording, incentive-based review behavior, fake reviews, or unnatural review-request bursts.
  • Spam, deceptive marketing, impersonation, false claims, misleading business information, or unsupported guarantees.
  • Harassment, threats, hate, discrimination, sexual exploitation, doxxing, or content that targets protected classes.
  • Unapproved scraping, unsupported write automation, circumvention of third-party platform rules, or attempts to bypass integration limits.
  • Uploading sensitive data that is not needed for the workflow, including payment card numbers, government identifiers, protected health information, or children's data.
  • Using AI outputs as final public statements without appropriate human review, especially for negative reviews, legal threats, safety incidents, employment issues, medical claims, financial claims, or discrimination risk.

Approval-first public workflows

Customers must review public-facing drafts before publication or external use. Sensitive review classes should be handled with shorter, safer language and explicit human judgment.

Manual fallback paths must be used where direct publishing is unsupported, unavailable, or risky.

Enforcement

Chorus Local may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, limit features, suspend integrations, restrict access, or terminate accounts when needed to protect safety, security, platform compliance, or legal obligations.

Reporting abuse

Report suspected abuse or policy violations to legal@choruslocal.com.
